Objectives

  • Take account of possible hazards and safety instructions and name the provided technical documentation
  • Understand the functional concept of the MILDS system
  • Understand the MILDS interfaces
  • Understand the data download and software upload tool (DDSUT) (only for MILDS F)
  • Perform switch-on and built-in test (BIT)
  • Perform inspection and cleaning
  • Perform confidence check with O-level test equipment
  • Exchange of line replaceable units (LRUs)

  • Practical experience in the maintenance of A/C equipment

Note

Training includes MILDS AN/AAR-60 family – Basic training (OT1). Training available for MILDS AN/AAR-60 or MILDS F AN/AAR-60 (V) 2. Hardware to be provided by the customer: UV stimulator
