HENSOLDT verbessert Drohnenabwehrfähigkeit der Bundeswehr – Fähigkeitserhöhung ASUL beauftragt

ASUL is part of a comprehensive air defence system: The modular counter-unmanned aircraft system (C-UAS) with a scalable sensor-effector mix of complementary active and passive radar systems, electro-optical sensors and a versatile range of countermeasures enables small unmanned aircraft systems to be detected, classified and identified in real time and successfully combated.

ASUL was developed by HENSOLDT subsidiary ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik-GmbH and handed over to the German Armed Forces in 2022. Since then, ASUL has proven itself comprehensively in a variety of scenarios, providing valuable operational experience. Building on this experience and the latest technological developments, HENSOLDT will now expand ASUL in a targeted manner to deliver the capability enhancements required by the soldiers of the Bundeswehr.

The Elysion Mission Core uses powerful, AI-supported algorithms to merge all available data in near real time and offers suitable options for action as reliable decision support for the operators. We see ourselves as a pioneer in the field of C-UAS.
