HENSOLDT appoints Inka Tews as new Chief Human Resources Officer

The Supervisory Board of HENSOLDT AG has appointed Inka Tews (55) as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) with effect from 1 May 2026. She will be responsible for the global HR organisation, facility management, including corporate security, and sustainability. Tews succeeds Lars Immisch, who is leaving the company at the end of March 2026 for health reasons.

Inka Tews has over 25 years of experience in human resources management at international technology companies. Most recently, she was Senior Vice President Human Resources, heading up global HR departments with a focus on business partnering at Infineon Technologies. There, she played a key role in shaping personnel structures for global growth and transformation phases. Her career also includes several years of management experience in North America and in-depth expertise in organisational development and post-merger integration.

Reiner Winkler, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, also emphasises the strategic importance of this appointment: “Inka Tews has a deep understanding of the requirements of global technology companies. We are convinced that she will play a key role in shaping the next stage of HENSOLDT's development.”

At the same time, the company bids farewell to Lars Immisch, who stepped down from the Executive Board at the turn of 2025/26. Oliver Dörre says: "Lars Immisch has shaped HENSOLDT over many years – with great personal commitment, high integrity and a clear eye for the people in the company. Especially in challenging times, he was an important pillar of support for the organisation. We would like to thank him sincerely for everything he has done for HENSOLDT and wish him all the best."
