MRD7090C

Compact spectrum monitoring and direction finding
Land EW Scenario

The challenge

Information about any given operational situation, and about enemy forces in particular, plays an increasingly decisive role in the effort to gain military superiority.

To achieve spectrum dominance, your forces must know where hostile emitters are located, the types of signals in use and the nature of the transmissions themselves.

Mobile platforms and fixed installations deployed in the field require capabilities and applications in direction finding, COMINT and spectrum monitoring – in military and security environments alike.

In the ITU domain, on the other hand, your forces’ capabilities should include regulatory spectrum monitoring, interference monitoring and spectrum management.

Our solution

This is a mission for the GEW MRD7090C – a compact and ruggedised spectrum surveillance system featuring simultaneous wideband direction-finding and monitoring functions.

Its compact size and robust design make the MRD7090C particularly well-suited for mobile direction finding, COMINT and spectrum-monitoring applications in military and security settings. In the case of fixed installations, the already high performance of the MRD7090C can be further enhanced by using a full-sized, direction-finding antenna array.

From sensor to effector, HENSOLDT’s land electronic warfare (EW) portfolio, which includes the GEW MRD7090C, integrates advanced technologies into complete solutions that create a clear picture of enemy emitters and own forces, with the additional ability to control how adversaries use the spectrum
