HENSOLDT and IBM Germany have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate in the field of Software-Defined Defence architectures. The aim of the cooperation is to develop selected software functionalities for the MDOcore software suite developed by HENSOLDT, whilst taking national sovereignty into account, thereby significantly accelerating the implementation of concepts in the field of Software-Defined Defence.

The HADR NF project was launched at HENSOLDT in mid-2021 with the aim of supplying four long-range radars for airspace surveillance to the German Air Force. Our TRL-4D LR /ROT (Long Range, Rotator) radars will replace the existing HADR (Hughes Air Defence Radar) systems by 2030. Recently, the first these TRL-4D LR long-range radars was delivered and installed at the ‘Bunker Balduin’ site in Brockzetel, northern Germany.

HENSOLDT France and G7 Global Aerospace announced the signing of a Teaming Agreement to collaborate on strategic and sovereign projects in Malaysia. The objective of this partnership is to provide advanced and secure solutions to the Malaysian Armed Forces, particularly the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) and the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF).

Inka Tews assumed the role of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at HENSOLDT AG effective May 1, 2026. She is a member of the Executive Board and is responsible for the global HR organization, facility management including corporate security and sustainability.
