MAG200 series
Telemetry and data processing stationThe challenge
Optimising every flight for maximum efficiency has become a critical challenge. Real-time big data is leveraged to evaluate the performance and viability of aircraft.
Top-tier aircraft rely on advanced technical and human expertise to excel during this pivotal phase. HENSOLDT employs state-of-the-art flight test systems to qualify and certify aerospace platforms, including aircraft, helicopters, drones, launchers, and missiles.
With deep expertise in telemetry and data processing, the group collaborates closely with test centres, aircraft manufacturers, and equipment suppliers worldwide.
Our solution
Capitalising on 30 years of experience in telemetry and data processing, HENSOLDT has developed the MAG200 series: a complete product line for system integration, validation and flight testing.
The MAG200 series covers all phases of test campaigns: test setup, real-time monitoring, data analysis, visualisation, recording, post-processing, test replay and simulation.
MAG200 stations are robust systems with a wide range of processing features based on the latest technologies.
Thanks to Magali’s multi-layer architecture and Kallisté graphical editing software, these stations meet multiple needs. They can be easily adapted to any test installation, regardless of technology or data format. All stations can be easily integrated into existing facilities or respond to need of demanding new programmes, offering an optimum combination of performance and durability.

Product family
BSS/BSC (Best Source Selection and Combination):
The BSS station accurately determines the best source by analyzing several data streams simultaneously. The source selection is performed in real time. Each stream is qualified according to receiver and/or frame specific quality factors (CRC, parity, SFID, etc.). In addition to the source qualification, a bit-to-bit analysis can be performed from at least 3 input streams. This station is ideal for complex testing with multi-antenna configurations, heterogeneous data sources and formats.
TGS (Telemetry Ground Station):
The TGS efficiently performs the complete functions of the telemetry chain: RF reception, bit and frame synchronization, storage and real-time data processing. The station covers most PCM decommutation standards (IRIG 106 Class II - CH4 and CH7, CE83 and CCSDS) and is scalable to include other data sources and formats: Digital buses (MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429, DIGIBUS, etc.), video, Chapter 10, Ethernet (TM over IP, IENA).
DPS (Data Processing Station):
Compatible with all receivers of the market, the DPS station offers bit and frame synchronization, storage and real time data processing. Based on the hardware architecture of our flagship MAG200-TGS product, the MAG200- DPS-R can be easily integratedinto an existing telemetry chain without compromise. It embeds all the processing functions of the TGS and offers the same level of performance.
SIM (Telemetry Simulator):
The SIM station simulates as real IRIG 106 class II (CH4, CH7, CH10), CE83, CCSDS and Daniel frames. The station provides a set of functionalities for testing, qualifying and maintaining ground telemetry systems. Telemetry data can be proceed in different physical formats (Ethernet or PCM DATA + CLOCK), from previously recorded data files or by programming simulated frames.
R&R (Record & Replay):
The R&R station provides recording and playback of telemetry data to secure test campaigns results. Record can be performed in different formats (raw, chapter 10, Magali test area), from different sources: PCM DATA + CLK, or Ethernet (TMoIP, Chapter 10, etc.). Recorded data are stored on high performance storage media and eventually encrypted. Replay can be performed in PCM DATA + CLK or Ethernet.
