Modern phased-array antennas for synthetic aperture radar systems require a large number of T/R modules. These space T/R modules must meet typical space requirements while being efficient, reliable, lightweight, and cost-effective.
There is a need for a standardised, modular transmit/receive module that can be produced in large quantities while meeting the high demands of space with consistently high quality.
Our solution
As enabling key element for active antennas in modern phased array radars and synthetic aperture radars, HENSOLDT has developed the Standardized Modular Transmit/Receive-Modul (SMTR) proven for space, airborne and ground applications.
