Your training as an IT specialist for system integration

(m/f/d)

In this profession, you will implement specialist requirements in complex hardware and software systems. You will analyze, plan and implement systems in an extensive, complex and heterogeneous IT infrastructure. You will be available to customers and users for technical advice, support and training. You can put the theoretical knowledge you learn at vocational school into practice in our teams.

You will always have a trainer or supervisor at your side. The theoretical knowledge is taught at the Robert Bosch School in Ulm, for example. At the Koblenz, Fürstenfeldbruck or Wilhelmshaven locations, you will be taught the theoretical knowledge by the respective local vocational schools.

What you can expect:

  • Theory: 1-2 days a week at the local vocational schools or in block lessons
  • Apprenticeship: HENSOLDT location in Ulm, Koblenz, Fürstenfeldbruck or Wilhelmshaven
  • Implementation of subject-specific requirements in complex hardware and software systems
  • Advice, support and training for customers and users
  • Analysis, planning and implementation of systems in an extensive and complex IT infrastructure
  • Duration: 3 years

What you bring to the table:

  • At least a good secondary school leaving certificate
  • Interest in computer technology and data processing
  • Analytical thinking and a very good technical understanding
  • Good language skills in German and English

In the internationally renowned radar stronghold at the HENSOLDT site in Ulm , more than 3,000 employees develop and produce complex security electronics.

Part of the HENSOLDT Group since 2024, around 900 employees in Fürstenfeldbruck drive secure digitalization and networking in all dimensions with their solutions and services.

The almost 80 highly qualified employees in Wilhelmshaven play a central role in supporting naval operations and offer end-to-end solutions in the areas of system technology, system development and project management.

The Koblenz site in turn acts as a liaison office for the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw). The areas of air, land, sea and cyber are equally represented at this location, which underlines the versatile orientation of the site.
