OPTARION OptaFEP

Fleet management
OptaFEP NH90 Hangar

The challenge

Fleet availability is critical for mission success in an increasingly volatile environment.

Traditional static planning cycles and fragmented tools no longer suffice to ensure operational readiness.

Transparency, prediction, and user-centric design are essential to transform fleet management from reactive monitoring into a continuous, data-driven operational capability.

Our solution

OptaFEP (Fleet Execution & Planning) by HENSOLDT is a software-defined, mission-centric solution that provides real-time transparency and transforms fleet management into an integral part of the operational backbone. It delivers a complete, real-time overview of fleet status—including flight hours, maintenance cycles, and technical availability—across platforms, locations, and domains. OptaFEP coordinates personnel, material, and infrastructure efficiently through user-specific dashboards tailored for commanders, planners, and technicians.

Beyond documentation and planning, it connects aircraft maintenance systems, logistics, capacity planning, and external ERP environments, creating a continuous feedback loop between operation, maintenance, and planning. The system shifts fleet management from reactive maintenance to proactive control by enabling predictive planning, early anomaly detection, data sovereignty, continuous optimization, and seamless collaboration across user roles.

Designed as an open, integrated, and platform-independent solution, OptaFEP supports multinational mixed fleets and integrates with logistics and maintenance systems. It transforms data into actionable operational decisions using AI-supported analytics, scenario-based planning, and real-time mission feasibility validation.

Proven in dynamic multinational exercises, OptaFEP connects operations, maintenance, and decision-making in a shared data environment, delivering continuous, predictive, and mission-driven fleet readiness.
