HENSOLDT has established a whistleblower system which allows employees and other stakeholders to report legal or other violations or relevant concerns.
Compliance with statutory regulations and internal rules is of paramount importance at HENSOLDT. The success of our company is based on integrity and compliance. To meet this standard, it is important that we are notified of a potential misconduct and can put a stop to it. HENSOLDT’s whistleblower system can be used to report potential misconduct and is open to all stakeholders.
HENSOLDT’s whistleblowing system, the HENSOLDT OpenLine – gives a way to report concerns and other information by phone to an external lawyer (the ‘Ombudsman’) or via email to the HENSOLDT Compliance Department. Any report can also be submitted anonymously. We also value information about possible serious regulatory violations on the basis of concrete evidence from business partners, customers and other third parties.
We examine every report thoroughly and follow up systematically. A key pillar of the whistleblower system is the principle of procedural fairness. Our Group OpenLine Policy guarantees the greatest possible protection for whistleblowers, persons implicated and employees contributing to the investigation of reported misconduct. Retaliation against whistleblowers and employees who contribute to promoting correct behaviour at HENSOLDT is not tolerated. It is particularly important for us to emphasise that we do not tolerate any form of discrimination against persons who report any violations to us. This also applies if their suspicions do not turn out to be justified or substantiated upon closer examination, unless such reports were made in a blatantly defamatory manner.
Investigations are conducted with the utmost confidentiality. The information is processed in a fair, fast and protected process.
