Headquartered in Taufkirchen near Munich/Germany, we develop sensor solutions for defence and security applications. As a technology leader, HENSOLDT also continuously expands its Cyber portfolio and develops new products to combat a wide range of threats based on innovative approaches to data management, robotics and cybersecurity.

With a network of offices in 19 key accessible defence markets , the HENSOLDT Group is able to strategically serve its growing customer base all over the world. We have structured our international presences according to the individual geographical regions in order to provide customer-oriented sales activities.

Our international teams are very well acquainted with the individual procurement processes and have comprehensive knowledge of the markets.

Our major industrial sites

We have production sites in Europe in Germany, France and the United Kingdom. In South Africa we are manufacturing in Pretoria as well as in Irene.

Our sites in Germany include Taufkirchen, Ulm and Oberkochen, as well as Wetzlar, Immenstaad, Pforzheim and Kiel. Our headquarters are in Taufkirchen, near Munich, which is one of the most important centres for innovation in the defence sector in Germany.

We established our first footprint in France with our site in Plaisir. The headquarters of HENSOLDT France SAS is located in the West Parisian area, an industrial and commercial zone.

In Enfield, located in North London, is the headquarter of HENSOLDT UK, formerly Kelvin Hughes Ltd., which was acquired by HENSOLDT in September 2017.

HENSOLDT in South Africa

HENSOLDT united the two entities GEW Technology and HENSOLDT Optronics Pty under one brand forming HENSOLDT South Africa. Additionally, we acquired the Air Traffic Management (ATM) and Defence & Security business units of Tellumat in 2020.
