  • Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems Sites: Ulm, Oberkochen

    As an Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems, you will be responsible for producing devices and equipment that enable wireless transmission of voice, data and/or images. You will take responsibility and apply modern technologies. During your training, you will learn how to use measuring instruments and the soldering iron, how to program microcontrollers and more. Device and system commissioning, device troubleshooting and the documentation of work processes will also form part of your training. Of course, an instructor or supervisor will always be available to answer your questions.

  • Industrial Mechanic Sites: Ulm, Oberkochen

    As an Industrial Mechanic, you will be responsible for producing and assembling mechanical devices. Afterwards, you will install them, put them into operation and check their functionality. You will take responsibility and work on product maintenance. During your training, you will learn how to properly mill, turn, drill and form. Device and system commissioning, device troubleshooting and the documentation of work processes will also form part of your training. Of course, an instructor or supervisor will always be available to answer your questions.

  • Surface Coater Site: Ulm

    Our products are constantly exposed to air, water and/or acids. As a Surface Coater, you will protect these parts by refining them and coating them with different metals or lacquers using chemical, thermal or electrolytic processes. During your training, you will also learn how to handle operating and hazardous materials in a responsible and environmentally conscious manner and how to use measuring instruments to test the various work pieces. Of course, an instructor or supervisor will always be available to answer your questions.

  • Microtechnologist Site: Ulm

    As a Microtechnologist, you will learn to make tiny things. Whether microchips for computers, smartphones or cars – our products are barely visible to the naked eye, but pack an enormous punch. You will therefore learn how to work in a clean room with state-of-the-art technology and how to secure and test clean room conditions. You will also learn how to provide and optimally dispose of chemicals and working materials, how to assemble, glue, solder and weld microsystem components, and how to document your work processes. Of course, an instructor or supervisor will always be available to answer your questions.

  • Mechatronics Technician Site: Oberkochen

    In this profession you create and assemble complex systems consisting of mechanical, optical and electronic components. You commission the finished assemblies, program or install the corresponding software. Maintenance and repair of the products is also one of your tasks. In the training workshop and in the departments you will learn everything that is necessary during your 3 ½ years of training, such as turning, milling and programming. An instructor is always at your side. The theoretical knowledge is taught in block lessons at the technical school in Aalen. Afterwards, you will be offered a wide range of prospects at HENSOLDT.

    An Office Management Assistant apprenticeship opens the door to a wide range of future opportunities, as you will get to know all of the core areas of our company and take on commercial tasks. As an expert in internal secretarial and assistant tasks, you will be responsible for managing office finances and administration. You will use modern office management and communication tools and undertake important business processes, such as organising business trips, meetings and events and dealing with invoices.     The study part at the university of cooperative education will provide you with the basic theoretical knowledge you will need for the practical modules in the company, in which you will get a direct insight into how an electrical engineer works. Advanced digital electronics, consisting of hardware and software components, will play a central role in this. You will acquire basic knowledge of natural and engineering sciences as well as state-of-the-art know-how in, for example, high-frequency technology, transmission technology, signal processing, electronics and processor technology.     The study part at the Cooperative State University provides you with the theoretical basic knowledge for the practical parts in the company, in which you get a direct insight into the field of work of a computer science engineer. During your studies, you will deal with the development of security concepts and secure system architectures. The focus of this course of studies is on the legal aspects and the application of IT security techniques in the design of systems, networks and data in order to analyse and ward off possible attacks on the company. Important questions for the application process

  • How do I apply?

    You can apply online directly via our job market portal for the position that suits you best. If several positions appeal to you, you can also apply for multiple positions at the same time.

    To apply, please upload all documents such as cover letters and certificates under Attachments. We will then check the documents. You will receive a reply from us as soon as all of the applications received have been reviewed.

    If you are shortlisted, a member of staff from our Human Resources department or the specialist department concerned will contact you to discuss the next steps.

    It may occasionally take a bit longer to review the documents, but we will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.

    As a general rule, applications for specific positions are more successful than unsolicited applications.

  • What happens after I have applied online?

    After you have successfully submitted your application online, you will receive a confirmation of receipt. We will then check your documents. You will receive feedback from us as soon as your application has been reviewed.

    If you are shortlisted, you will be invited to an interview. Otherwise, you will receive a rejection. Please note that the feedback process can take longer for unsolicited applications as we have to examine if there is a need for a position matching your set of skills.

    For apprenticeships and dual studies only, we ask shortlisted applicants to participate in an online assessment centre before they are invited for an interview during our Application Day.

  • When will I receive feedback on my application?

    Every applicant receives feedback from us. We do our best to provide this as soon as possible, but the length of time it may take depends on the position in question. If you have not heard from us within six weeks, please contact us.

  • Is there a deadline for application?

    HENSOLDT has no fixed application deadlines. However, positions are filled as soon as a suitable candidate is found. It is therefore always worth applying for a position as early as possible. Once you have found a position that appeals to you, it is best to apply immediately.

    With regard to internships, your application should be received at least three months before the planned start date. If you cannot find a suitable position advertised, you are welcome to send us an unsolicited application via our job market portal.

    All of our job advertisements for apprenticeships and dual studies are advertised from June/July of the year before the start of the apprenticeship/semester. Our job advertisements remain online until we have been able to fill all spots with suitable applicants.

  • May I apply for multiple positions?

    HENSOLDT does not have a limit on how often you may apply. You are welcome to apply for any position that interests you.

  • What documents will I need for my application?

    Please apply exclusively online via our job market portal and provide the following application documents.

    For regular positions:
